Changes

Just a quick update to announce some minor yet important changes going forward. I started this website with a News tab which functioned primarily as a way to announce website updates and to announce new products and such. However, I recently sat down and had discussions with some key folks (they know who they are) and they clued me in to the idea of making this section of the website an actual blog instead. Something more personal about my life as a bartender, mixologist, and a wholesaler of beverage enhancers.

I approve of this change on many fronts. I believe this will allow the website to be a closer reflection of who I am and will more deeply resonate my love of the craft to all of you. No one appreciates automated or mass produced products when it comes to connecting with an actual human audience. Sure, nothing compares to worldwide scope when it comes down to assembly line style product creation but when it comes down to hand crafted items made with love, care, and individuality nothing beats that ground level or eye-to-eye human connection between myself and supporters of Drinkslinger.

So, from here on out, expect updates here featuring a myriad array of subjects - how I got into the craft, tips, advice, stories, that sort of thing. I already enjoy the loose nature of this entry as opposed to the more formal website updates I used to share. Speaking of that, I made a slight adjustment to the old “Cocktails” section and converted it to “Recipes”. That section is now a more Gallery oriented style and is a little bit more organized and clean. More updates to that coming soon too.
